F knee is a bit loose. Where is the set screw for tighten the knee lever (stem) to the cross bar? Not on the sides.
I can’t remove the cross bar to look at the underside. Well if I do, all pullrods for A,B and F will have to come off…
Thanks

Re: Fessenden knee lever set scew?
One of the "joys" of the Fessy design is that the hex screws that secure lever pedestals to the cross-shaft are indeed, as you suspected, UNDER the cross-shaft. You will likely have to disassemble the shaft and the works nearby as well to rotate the shaft 90° away from the changer end to gain access to the underside, if not you will have to remove the shaft, tighten the screw and puf it all back together. Take photos and detailed notes on which bellcrank slot and which changer hole each pull-rod goes to before removing anything. When restoring the cross-shaft set the rear brass bushing tight enough to leave 1/8" of shaft play end-to-end.
