Hey y’all, very specific request here - can anyone share a picture or two of how a single coil pickup is typically grounded on an older Sho Bud, i.e. Professional or earlier? I’m investigating a hum issue.
I’m familiar with how this is typically done - by grounding to the raise spring bracket or somewhere else - but I just haven’t found a photo example anywhere.
Not looking for general hum advice/don’t wanna open a can of worms here - I’ve done plenty reading about single coil hum issues on the forum - just looking for a photo example.
Thanks!

I circled where the spliced(small bit of plastic cut off to have bare wire) ground wire runs out of bottom; under raise spring bracket and then on to input jack.

Awesome - that's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks as always Ricky! Hopefully this'll help someone else down the road searching for the same thing.
