I Reach Out (One Last Time)
Reaching out yet again...and again and again. Still not sure why. No need to answer that. The last time.

Re: I Reach Out
Hey Gary,
I like the Country / Folk feel and the acoustic sound of the album. The production is really nice and the mix is well done.
The way the PSG sits in the compositions is appealing, IMHO.
Yeah, "Double Take" is my favorite. I like the Tremolo and the interplay between the two steel tracks. NICE!
Nice Album, Gary!

Thanks Dan
Yes, Double Take is an out and out pop song. Worth getting my tremelo pedal out for the fun of it.
Thanks for listening (again...and again...)

Re: I Reach Out (One Last Time)
I've listened to much of what you've shared over time.
Over the years—perhaps too slowly, but still inevitably—I've come to realize that there's little value in speaking up unless I can offer something constructive, or at least ask questions that might lead to some insight.
I could have simply said that I didn't "understand" what you were doing—or trying to do—in your stand-alone videos. But even that felt unhelpful, so I chose not to say anything.
Today, however, I feel compelled to write, because I believe I finally understand.
It feels like everything has come together into a cohesive album—a thoughtful collection of ideas that work together to make a musical statement I can now appreciate and absorb, even enjoy.
The tone is good, the intonation is excellent, and the interplay of different instruments gives it a sparkle creates an ambient vibe that I found genuinely pleasant.
Congratulations on creating a real album, and thank you for persevering sharing the culmination of your efforts.

Re: I Reach Out (One Last Time)
Many thanks J D. I was quite happy with how this one turned out, but then I'm easily pleased when it comes to myself.
Really appreciate your comments, and glad to see you linked my rough and ready improvisation videos with 'finished/polished' (Ha!) albums like this one (and most of my others actually).
Maybe it won't be the last time then...who knows?
Cheers
Gary
