This Diamond Ring a la Ventures
I recently saw that Gary Lewis celebrated another birthday. As a tribute to my favorite instrumental band, the Ventures, I worked up my arrangement of This Diamond Ring, a favorite tune from the l960s. I read that it was written by Al Kooper and featured a young Leon Russell as the song's arranger. No wonder it was a hit.

That was great Chuck ... haven't thought of that song in forever ... thanks for the memory refresh, as a kid I used to sing this song like I was a rock star
