Paul Franklin's solo on The Bug by Dire Straits

Post by James Callan »

I love the pedal steel guitar solo Paul Franklin plays at the end of the Dire Strait's tune, The Bug (the original studio version). I was wondering if anyone has the tablature for the solo or knows where I can find it. I've checked youtube to see if anyone explains it but haven't found anything yet. I also slowed the speed down on the youtube version but it comes out too distorted to hear each note clearly. Thanks.

Would love to see this tab if anyone has a copy. I've worked most of it out, and always happy to see other approaches and check my mistakes

Yep - that's it. There are some great live recordings as well.
