Help Needed - YouTube Sound

I lost the sound on my YouTube Videos.Can anyone give me an easy fix as I am a pooter dummy??

Check the horizontal slider on the video frame for proper volume. Make sure it is not all the way to the left. Also, see if the speaker icon on YouTube videos has a red X through it. If it is, un-mute it, via the mute button.

Further, many YouTube videos still run on Adobe Flash. You may or may not know that Adobe Flash was updated along with the last Windows Updates, on November 11. If you are still using an older version of Flash Player, this could be your problem.

You can get the latest version of Flash on the Adobe Flash Player download page. Note, there are different versions for Internet Explorer and all other browsers. Google Chrome browsers themselves must be updated to install a new version of Flash.

Operating a computer with an out-dated Flash Player is the next riskiest thing to do, next to having an out-dated Java plug-in (or using a Java browser plug-in at all!).

Yes, the problem is usually the volume slider on the left bottom of the video frame. It's easy to accidentally click on that instead of the play button. That one click will Mute the volume completely.
